Today, I Learned How to Burn Hamburger Patties.

I am not a cook. Even when my mom tried to teach me things, my ADHD made it to where I only gathered an incomplete set of directions, or I fully forgot what she taught me after learning it. Now that I'm living on my own, learning how to cook is trial-and-error, just like it has been for many others.
I take great joy in anything I can cook in a frying pan on the stove, because I can do that!
I attempted to cook several hamburger patties today (so some could go in the fridge for lunches), and I burnt two so bad they had to be thrown out. I'm pretty sure I even overcooked the ones that don't physically look overcooked. I also made the grave mistake of seriously underestimating how long it takes to cook these patties. It was meant to be my first meal of the day. By the time I had my plate, I was shaking from low blood sugar, and taking my adderall without food fucked me up. Never again. Not for the first meal.

On the one hand, good for you for cooking your own meals! On the other hand, that sucks so much. But hey, live and learn right? If you ever want recipes or advice feel free to message me, and in the meantime keep at it!

Cooking can be hard I know sometimes I struggle or get flustered with it. If you ever want some simple recipes for normal meals and treats, just ask~
