So basically, my mom gifted me a dji drone for my bday since I’ve been doing droning for tv for a couple of months and had been growing. But after my last project the industry has had a historical low and I’ve been unable to get work and if that wasn’t enough.The license is super expensive. Needless to say, without a job or any work opportunity in the horizon I was doubting if this would come to anything. I talked with my mom and she told me I could sell the drone to invest in something else. I wanted to invest in a 3d printer since I’ve been slowly learning 3D, I wanted to begin making a fursuit and potentially begin a business put of it. So I did, I thought I had sold it… But the money never came through. Where I’m from, we can track down this kind of transactions and everything looked fine, it seemed like the money had gone through, but there was no sign of it on my account l. I was in contact with the guy for the last days (The sell happened in Sunday) and he wanted me to come and pick up the drone but needed me to reimburse him the delivery cost, I thought that was fair so I went on mu way and payed it, but… well yeah he ghosted me, I’m at the supposed meet up place and there’s no sign of him since a couple hours ago... I know that you may be thinking that I’m an idiot and I am… I just… the tracking system for money transfers in my country is pretty solid, and I had no reason not to trust him… But well, I guess bad ppl always find a way.
