Grandpa passed away and the flu (G)

Hello everyone.
First of all, Happy belated New Year.
Apologies for the radio silence over the past couple weeks. I made a quick post explaining some of the situation on BlueSky, but given its nature, I simply forgot to update here.
On the 29th of December my paternal grandfather passed away at the age of 96. I don't want to go into specifics, other than simply he passed from old age. My grandad was subsequently cremated and placed in a crypt next to my grandma on the 31st. The family has been going through a mourning period since. (Writing this on Jan, 9th). I'm in a much clearer headspace at the moment. Still going to take a couple more days to start getting back into art in general.
Also, on top of that, I caught a bug and got the flu. So still dealing with that. Currently on antibiotics, but on the tail end of it.
