Hey everyone!
Been a while that I made a journal that wasn't a stream or commissions.
I don't love this username and since there's no way to change username's on FA, that's one of the reason's for the move but there's a few other changes I'd like to make to my content moving forward.

So I've been doing commission work pretty consistently for the past 5 or 6 years and due to various factors I started feeling very burnt out from them earlier this year. When I first started doing commission work, I was ok with drawing nearly anything that was requested and didn't have many boundaries on the topics I'd draw (I mean, not including really vile stuff of course). This has led to a lot of clientele coming to me for certain kinks and fetishes that I don't have any personal interest in. I'm sure there are lots of artists out there that draw things they don't love, but I think if I want to continue doing art and especially if I want to pursue comic work I need to rebrand a bit and focus my work on the things I DO enjoy drawing.

This isn't to put any blame on the people who come to me for things like GTS, vore, pkmn, and TF stuff- I don't have a problem with any of these things and there was a time when I did enjoy drawing some of it for sure, but tastes and things change over time right? And I'm grateful for everyone that's ever commissioned and supported! But another part of the commission burn out definitely came from some client interactions I had too. I wonder if not being a very vocal poster contributed to this but it seemed like several clients felt more comfortable being pushy and demanding with me than I'd like. I figure the only appropriate response to this is to be more firm with my boundaries, hopefully sticking to YCH's for a little while will let me get a bit of a break from custom work and allow me to draw some more things I'd like.

As for the pkmn stuff, like I said, interests change; I had fun doing it as long as I have I think it's time for me to move on and away from it.
I'm hoping with this new account I can get a fresh start and cultivate a gallery that feels more like me and hopefully reaches others that wanna see it too!
I'll still be drawing porn and furries so I don't think THAT much will change, lol.

Having said all that I'm not really sure what I'm planning on doing with this account? I don't plan on deleting it anytime soon but I might disable it at some point. A majority of my work that's on here is up on E6 but I do have works that I'd like to reupload on the new account as well. I think for now I'll just be posting new art on OniPuff while I decide what to do with this account.
