Hello everyone!

I didn't really know what title to give to this journal but well it's about things so I guess it's not that bad.
So I wanted to say a little more about me and about what I'm doing here!

About me and my sona
You can call me Nook and my sona is a raccoon girl linked to the Animal Crossing game. Well at the beginning my pseudo was already Nook on the net and when Animal Crossing was released, my friends found it cute to say I was part of Tom Nook's family. When I first went to FurAffinity it seemed natural to make my raccoon reborn as my sona :)
I'm 30 and I was a web developer until a few years ago when I decided to change job. I'm trying to become a farmer at the moment and my sona is a farmer too. She kinda have the ideal farm I would want to have ^^ However I've created her like a character and not like a part of myself. She is then a fictional character.

About my art
I was a writer before being a drawer but about 10 years ago I began to learn – especially because a lot of my new friends were hobbyist artists and I wanted to be able to do like them. But I found it pretty enjoyable and began to really want to improve as time went by.
My motivation and goals have changed a lot during this 10 years. A few years ago I wanted to be able to do illustration for children books. Then I wanted to improve my techniques and skills. And now I want to learn more about comics and try to draw my own to be able to tell my stories with pictures.
I think that drawing is now part of my life and I hope that I'll always find the time to keep drawing!

I wanted to try something new and I don't really remember how anthro art came into my mind but I discovered this site and the whole fandom. I truly enjoy the anthropomorphic arts and ideas. I also think that animals deserve a lot of respect and love. However I don't think that I'm linked to a specific animal, I'm just an hobbyist artist who draw things and especially anthropomorphic characters.

I hope it wasn't too long and that you found it nice to learn a little more about me and my sona!
