Upon the number of notes that I've received privately out of the blue, I felt I wanted to state this somewhere on my profile.
If you send me a "Hi", "How are you doing", etc. note out of the blue, there's a high likelihood I'm just going to ignore it. It's not because I'm a reclusive jerk, I have had experiences in the past where I did respond to those types of messages, and it absolutely burned me on several occasions. As a precaution, I don't mess with those messages. If you do want to get to know me better, inquire about my characters, etc. I'd ask you to follow this profile for a while. Comment on a post every now and then, strike up a convo about one of my interests (some are listed on my profile). If I see someone sticking around my profile, liking and commenting on posts for a prolonged period of time, I'm more likely to realize your interest, and potentially be more open to the aforementioned notes and messages.

Same applies if you wish to talk on sites outside of FA, Discord being the primary example.

Again, it's not just because you messaged me, it's because of the sour experiences I've encountered in the past. I mean no disrespect towards those who send those messages, just know it's a cautious and reserved response from myself.
