I've been working on this on and off for the past month. Just this weekend I finally was able to dig deep and actually finish it. So, enjoy!
Charizard has eaten 100 too many sweet poffins. He should cut back before he ends up getting as fat as a whale!

From now on I'll be showing the original sprite and the edit side-to-side for comparison. It gives you a better idea of how I edited the sprite itself to look different.

Set aside how great this is, I can only nitpick at one thing, and that's the right hand. The wrist was re-used, so it looks a bit awkward. Needs to be a bit more flush with the over-sized wrists. vB

I may create sprites in the future. But for now, I'm just doing edits, which are much less intricate.
Also, this "someone" who does fatsprites still does them (
khatoblepas). I have the money to get one, but I can't send it over the internet because I don't have PayPal yet. Luckily, I will soon, which means I will also be able to take commissions for both my stories and my artwork.
