This fellow...was probably my favorite animal at the zoo as a whole. Golden Lion Tamarin! These tiny new world monkeys along with a few other species have an absolutely massive enclosure...with no fencing separating them from the visitors. He was about 4 feet in front of me, "talking" up a storm. His lady friend was over my head (within arm's reach) on a vine. I believe he was either trying to get her to come over to him, or if he was telling her that it was his territory and she needed to leave. Either way...she went over to him regardless and they moved off together. Such gorgeous little primates.
