I decided to give a go at redesigning Decidueye, as I loved the concept of the whole assassin archer owl thing but am bothered by a few aspects of it's design.
1: Looking at it from the back in-battle, it looks so...conic. So I added a little more leaf/plumage to it's neck to break the shape a little
2: Those fucking long legs. Owls have somewhat long legs, but they aren't usually stretched out often, and usually have the appearance of having long bodies proportionally. Also, constantly having long, outstretched legs on a bird suggests they are a bird that runs swiftly on ground, and well, Decidueye is not fast. So, I shortened the legs a bit and made them a little more bent at a center joint.
3.The taaaail. I get what they were going for with the long green for the tail, but I think giving it an owl tail and having a the green just as a separate cape works a bit better and keeps more to an owls physical structure.
4. BITCH DON'T PUT PREY BIRD WINGS ON A PREDATORY BIRD UGH. One of my biggest pet peeves. I gave it the more hard-angled shape to it's feathers to make it's wings more owl-like, and predatory in general.
5. The colurz. I decided to use a bit more of Dartrix's color scheme, with a darker brown and a softer green. That bright as fuck blue-green on Decidueye is, for me at least, unpleasantly pronounced, and generally having bright colors isn't exactly wonderfully fitting to an assassin-like design. I also changed the face so that the plumage just simulates the shadow the hood creates, making the eye's a more primary focus.
6. It's leaf strings! I just added a couple more leaves to it's strings, since they're such an important part of Decidueye's battling I thought they deserved a tad more detail.
I may do Incineroar too, because I liked his design from all the art I saw of him so I chose him...then was brutally dissappointed by weirdly solid lines and the body of a powerpuff girls character.

Oooohh, I like this.
I'm definitely digging the colors a lot better, the original colors are too bright and not really earth-toned enough, so it'd be terrible camouflage.
The slightly darker shades on the brown, and the more natural green looks a whole lot better.
I'd be interested to see what you'd do with Incineroar, should you decide to take on the task of redesigning him.

Yeah I thought Dartrix's colors would work better for it. The assassin-like pokemon seems like it should have more dark colors on it. Hiding in shadows n shiz.
I likely will. I don't think I'd change it tooo much, I think i'd just add some sort of fur to it's elbows and thicken the base of it's arms a little so its arms don't look so weirdly cartoony. Possibly change the red a little so it's less intense, and make some slight alteration to the stripes, maybe give them varying thickness or something. It's design to me feels too "clean".

I definitely feel that your redesign is much cooler than the original, and also feels a lot better. I have to also say that the wings here are so much better than what they are in the original version, as they feel more agile and even assassin like! I also like the new colors, it feels right for a ghost grass type too.
It would be interesting to see you do Incineroar. But really this design is the best Beatz! ^w^
