I really love how you show the guilty feeling with reasonable distance and a bit lonely character in the middle of the piece.
The mother in the corner with the house reinforcing the feeling of the heavy presence. The duty on her shoulders.
The only thing I can tell it feels a bit incorrect is tail. I don't know why but seems they have been done in a different thinking. Not in the motion of the characters.

Another great pic. Makes me wonder how differently I'd read the image at a glance w/o a little treatment in the description.
And it may sound silly, but one of my favourite parts is seeing the stray leaves on the awning. That bit of consideration goes such a long way.
