First FA upload! My little fox character Lilac getting a view of the canyon skies.
Wanted to go for a sort of Disney style here. The Background was meant to be the main focus, I'm still experimenting and practicing with backgrounds since I'm pretty rusty without a reference.

I'm in absolute awe and blown away by your talent!! Your profile states you use a laptop and mouse alone?? That's just insane... you've definitely earned a watch from me, I'd absolutely love to see more work from you and see how it evolves as time goes on. You're already SO good!!

Quite frankly, you have done an excellent job.
In general, Artists don't like to draw the backgrounds, because it's long, and it's complicated to have good perspectives and good shadows and lights. But you wanted to focus on this difficulty, and you did it perfectly! It will be difficult to do better.
And your character is so cute.
You have enormous potential, develop your talents, and post more drawings.
You deserve success and recognition.

I've been busy outside of the internet for a while so I'm very sorry for not having replied sooner! Backgrounds are a long and tedious process for me but when finished they are often the best part of a drawing, so I plan on making more pieces like this to build my practice. Thank you so much for your supportive and kind words :>
