Been really disliking my older ref even though I'm not drawing or commissioning much art lately. So I wanted to update some patterns, info and the body type to make my sona more closer to myself. I feel a bit more comfortable with my body lately which is rare for me so I wanted to give him more of a "dad bod" to mirror my own. I like the current weight i'm at currently and it's giving me more body positivity than I had before. I'll still draw him thinner or fatter depending on the art but I feel this is a nice happy medium. I altered the red markings on his shoulders and hips as well to flow more with his body too. The markings now define his butt more and follow his neck line. I love the way it looks now rather than just random splotches in those areas. I moved the stripes on his arms up to his shoulders as well to fill in that now negative space. Tried to make the layout look better as well and fixed the info on it so it seems less like rambling.

Overall, very pleased with it. I'll try to upload more stuff over time as I now have more time for art. I have a few more things I did over Christmas to touch up to and finish a few more refs. Hopefully I can get back into uploading more frequently again TwT

I used Procreate on my ipad to do the lines and color. Used Opencanvas 7 for text, and Paintool Sai for finishing touches. I plan on switching to the latter 2 programs once I get a new tablet. Still gonna use Procreate but only when i'm on the road.
