It would be interesting to see photos of different time periods. Too bad, we'll probably never get the chance, unless someone creates a time machine.
I definitely love a good stout, too bad most breweries love themselves an IPA... I have to either buy more IPA glasses or wash the one I do have almost daily.

*laughs... I too have a Tatonkin glass... and a few others too along with a bottle of Spitfire which remains on my collection table...
funny story - my son had a girlfriend once and they came to stay with us for a bit. She was not the best - ok, she was a lazy pig of a person... I had a bottle of cheap tequila on that table that had a lot of sentimental value (a lot!). I came home one day and it was broken into and partially drunk. I was so pissed! Thank goodness that romance didn't last long.
*I was the reason she convinced my son to move out again - bwahahahahahahaha!

I can’t say I’m familiar with Tatonkin, but I do know a pig when I see one!
That’s a shame about the tequila. I don’t understand how a “guest” would have the nerve of opening something that wasn’t theirs without asking first.
Well, I do, but I wouldn’t consider that person a guest.
I’m just glad you were using the past tense when referring to your son’s girlfriend.
