Listening to it now that it's all recorded and i've been doing other things today I see where I could have made it better. Though keeping in mind this is running off a trial of Virtual DJ and my only tools at my disposal are my mouse and keyboard shortcuts it's really all I can do for the most part. I've been tinkering with this mix for a little bit now though just trying to get better doing things. I think I continued Harder Better Faster Stronger after Megalomaniac ended and then mixed in Technologic. After which I would just play what I thought would go next.

For this I just decided to do just the one song and freestyle it up a bit more with the loop. I'm glad I kept you sticking around even if it was just barely at the beginning. I guess when the end result comes down to it it's about making people stick around. May I ask though where was it that I was loosing you? If it was just how I started up (when the song actually started) I can understand that, it's not the best intro I could have done to... anything really. But given the equipment and not 100% knowing what i'm doing will have that happen.

I need to get me some equipment, at least a controller like the Total Control or something to start off with. I'm looking into it.


(wow this was a big response. Got a tad ranty. But yea i'm glad you got sucked in, mean's i'm doing something partially right. Also this was typed after staying up later than I should have. So if anything doesn't make complete sense it's likely because I need to learn to not talk past 3:30 am. XD)

It was the intro to the song that i kinda sighed and went "here we go" but as soon as the song actually started my jaw hit the floor, and knowing now you did that with a minimal amount of equipment...if i had a basment thats where my jaw would currently take residence! bomb stuff man! and trust me...i know what those three in the morning rants feel like XD

Eh the thunder crappy intro thing was a last minute thing I did because if I were to go to say a club or some such and dj and I was starting out the night i'd need something... not so musical to get into the music. Or atleast that's my idea for it. Really I was just throwing random thunder clips onto one deck while looping another on the other deck. And when I say random I mean "aim mouse down toward thunder samples, drag to deck real fast, hit space twice to accept to loading a song where a song is playing and then play it". Then I loaded the track on. The intro to Megalomaniac was boring I guess because I didn't do anything to it and really didn't know what to do to it really. I just hoped it would be a nice intro on it's own and then get better when I start doing something.

3 am.... i put this on big speakers... went outside and spun poi to this.... the neighbors asked me who it was saying how good it was XD

Wonder what I could do if I had a more music and some actual equipment... hmm.
