Cirrus the Inflatable Airliner
Me and
ltcolonelwhipper were talking a couple days ago about living airplanes, inflatables and deflation, and he suggested a combo of the three. So, voila!
Meet Cirrus, a full-size inflatable plane based on a Boeing 737! I'll come up with a reference sheet later, but for now, here they are, deflating themselves to relax after a long flight!
In fact, they'll find any good reason and way to deflate themselves; they just love it so much!
And as you'd probably guess, they're non-binary. Nothing under them, after all!
EDIT: Updated the Species tag, now that "Airborne Vehicle" is an option.

Yeah he is self-flying definitely, probably the body would stiffen when someone is inside for safety reasons. And yeah durable hulls would be good for any avian threats or a Crash. Heh yeah! Flexibility is good and all! being able to stand up on inflatable landing gear and have wing bend like arms!
Though I would let Wolvinof decide though heh

yeah! the hardest design is with the cabin: the inside needs to not be part f the inflatable, but, if the inner wall and outer wall were fully different, the inner wall would just fall. the solution: two chambers, each supporting the other, by having poles connected to the other part.
Look, I'm going to be completely honest; there's absolutely no lore whatsoever for them, and nearly all that stuff I said was made-up on the spot.
They weren't even meant to be an OC, I just wanted to draw a random deflating plane, Whipper suggested naming it, and here we are.
I don't care about a backstory, I don't care about how they function, I don't even care about the giant valve. Their entire deal is just "inflatable plane that loves deflation", and it's not going any further than that.
If I want an OC with actual story and lore, I'll certainly make one like I did with my robot girl Greta. But right here, Cirrus is just something done on a whim. Whether I even draw them again is another matter entirely.
So, yeah, sorry. :l

I'm sorry for snapping like that. I just got frustrated by all those questions about something dumb and simple.
It is nice that you were curious, but like I said, there's really nothing to Cirrus except for their deflation antics. It's all they're made for.
And your questions were good and clever; it's just the wrong sort of character to put them on.
I hope this is okay with you. :(

Sorry, I was asleep! Here's the info! ;)
Whipper and Sonnitude are right, they can fly on their own, and they do go stiff when carrying passengers! Other than that, they can move and bend their body freely!
As for birds and other sharp hazards, they can control the thickness of their vinyl and make it strong to stop punctures... and of course do the reverse if they have no passengers and they want some fun! ;)
