As I mentioned in the Rhubarb Cake recipe, I was trying to grow some vegetables and because of a Drought-laden summer the results were somewhat less than I had hoped but probably better than I expected.
Basically grown in a planter with fresh soil I tried some different carrot types to see what I might like.
Not sure what to do with them yet. Maybe because I don't have a lot of them I may toss them into a Stir Fry or a tasty DuSable family Stew.
I am open to suggestions.
I'll let you know later what I pick and the results.
