Cut and shaped from petrified wood and studded with steel, Ventus' kanabo is light in appearance, but deceptively heavy, especially through gravity manipulation. It can be as light as a tube of cardboard, or as heavy as a marble rolling pin, perhaps heavier. It's use can be for multiple functions. Namely defending himself without use of his powers. Another could be for channeling his powers to it if it's from a distance like a conduit or lightning rod. Or here where he can use it to lean on it and get up should he need to. Either way, he can summon it on mental command should the need arise. It could even be changed in ways to fit his appearance.

If I were to give this a 1 word review of this piece, it would be "Badass". This is a piece I genuinely think is incredible, from the pose, to the expression, even with the kanji to the right there which is basically "Orca" (or "Whale Shark") and "Dragon". I use a lot of quotation marks for this, but hey.
