CROSSING SWORDS S2 (ROUND 1 MATCH 4) -- MELVILLE VS ARTHU...
After James & Otis eventually cleared out of the stage (moreso Otis, aftering needing to be unwrapped from his own tail by a tourney floor assistant), the next two competitors made their way onto the battlefield.
The crowd's interest definitely showed in their voices, as the audience was greeted with a pair of rather exotic-looking humanoid anthropomorphic Pokemon species.
One fashioned a set of partial armor on his arms, legs, and head that together made a star-like shape from a distance. His actual face was hidden within his helmet-like armor piece, revealing just a pair of glowy eyes & a mouth through the visor/face part of the headgear.
The other had a sword handle-shape atop his head, and one would notice, he was wearing an eyepatch over part of his face (and covering one of his eyes). Whether it was medically mandatory for him, or just something he wore for show, the audience had no idea.
Both men were well-built, and quite muscular, both standing a solid 6 foot tall.
With both competitors for this match touting quite the presentation, entrance, and appearance, the audience was split on who they wanted to root for more.
The next track faded in, setting a new fitting tone for what would be an interesting first round match in this tournament.
