I made a red panda character, hehe! I was almost gonna make it a form...but figured it'd be more fun to make him his own character! And it most definitely was, as I had a lot of fun developing the details about him! But he didn't transcend my love of BOTTOM HEAVY, so he's also thick as heck! Details below, but otherwise, enjoy!
Sidenote: Yes, I was inspired/motivated by a certain movie I loved, hehe.
Name: Gura Vermillion
Age: 21 Yrs.
Pronouns: He/Him
Height: 10’ 2”
Weight: 2 tons
Gura Vermillion is a large (rather large) red panda with a powerful love of music and sound. He is even-tempered overall, though is also prone to rather strong bouts of emotion, be they excitement or anxiety when appropriate. He is friendly, though somewhat reserved; when he is approached, he is more than happy to talk, especially when there is common ground between the other and him. He works at a record store regularly and also works gigs as a DJ during some nights, as he simply enjoys being surrounded by music. He can nearly get completely lost in bliss when a good song hits his ears.
He doesn't know it, but Gura is a distant descendant of the Vermillion Nobles, a secretive, magical society that inhabited his world's moon thousands of years ago. This connection gives him a large degree of magical power, but he doesn't quite know how to control most of it; it has largely manifested in vibration and sound related magic, along with an ability to grow giant under certain conditions...or when too much magic power builds up inside him to volatile levels.

Looks like a big, handsome sweetie! A real bro. I'm sure he gets up to lots of interesting adventures with those powers. I'd love to be his little buddy, hang out with him sometime.

He can manipulate sound and sound waves, even to the point of generating vibrations themselves to cause tremors or shockwaves, for instance! But he can also magically make a sound reverberate louder or over longer distances! Music also does help him focus easier, especially given his lack of training with his abilities overall.
Are all these powers specific to him being present or can he imbue items woth his magic (say a speeker or a instrument? Perhaps even a person to give them "Gura's blessing" almost like an RPG buff) as you mentioned he has alot of magic build up at times.
