My post apocalyptic character, Ivan Samaddams-Tucknee, has just built a cabin in the mountains with his husband Callum. Ivan and Cal are my and my boyfriend's Dystopia Rising characters, and we've been text RPing them lately while we can't attend LARP.

The cabin has a sniper tower, and uses a waterwheel for power that gets fed by a creek and has a water flume dropping water on it for extra gravity power. The waterwheel is made of two wooden wagon wheels put together, with an axel and scrap wood paddles. The axel turns a bicycle wheel with a belt turning an old car alternator. The wires lead into the house to some old car batteries and in turn to a breaker in the storage room.

The running water comes from a water tank out back that collects rainwater from the roof through a gutter pipe.

Not pictured is the outdoor pavilion cooking fire pit, nor the vegetable garden, chicken coop, animal pen, pond, or perimeter wall which is made of chain link fence reinforced with scrap metal and wood boards. The garden is 6 rows of vegetables and flowers irrigated by 3 1-foot wide canals leading from the creek to a man-made pond.
