The beast sees you during this parade that he wandered into. The crowd is cheering. The sun is bright. You feel safe, yes?
A wave of dread washes over you and your spine chills, causing you to shiver. You made eye contact with him for only a few seconds, but why does it feel like a lifetime? Surely he did not pull you into a nightmare, feeding off your terror and fear before thrusting you back into the waking world. Right? He couldn't do that.
Right?
Stay out of the shadows you're told. The monsters in the dark that feed on little boys and girls, leaving behind chewed up bones and horror for their caretakers. Those don't come out in the sunlight, right? They stay under beds, in closets, or down dark hallways. They lurk in shadows, waiting for you to drop your guard. None of them dare to face the sun's wrath on the open world... right?

I had the dhole-raptor (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/19063028/) , but I ended up selling it quite a few years back. Really fun to wear, though! I just found I like costuming in things that are a bit less 'hot' and a bit more mobile so I mostly just do casual stuff now. :)

Ah, that's a gorgeous suit! Shame about selling it, but I can understand as suiting can be taxing because of the heating issues, especially when you have to wear all the "cool gear" or cold packs to avoid melting. (suffer for the art I suppose?)
