Here in an inflatable AU of Pokemon, maybe its called Poolkemon? But aside from that this is a world made entirely of pooltoys, balloonies, mylar and many other sorts of differing rubber and materials with different properties, strengths, weaknesses and all of that like PVC, some harder to puncture than others or need more heat to melt down...
Humans, Pokemon, Technology, Buildings, Plants, Ground and even Liquids are all rubbery with a valve, seams, warning label, some with string attached to them either to anchor them if its building wise or if their balloonies with a knot. And here...the language barrier between Man and Mon is non-existent, meaning that both can talk and understand each other now with both talking perfect human English! And those buildings in the background are tethered with rubber strands of rope, much like parade balloons.
So here we have a Female human trainer at the rubbery and indented beach, sitting down relaxing her squeaky self talking with her best friend and Pokemon Salazzle, a fellow Poke-toy as they have a casual conversation about certain stuff on what's going on around the inflatable world of pokemon and how their other friends both human and mons are doing. Probably one was with pokemon in the PC going mining for some more gummis or maybe there was this time they encountered a shiny and were just meer seconds away from missing it and befriending it...well catching it that is. Though recently they've had quite a fun time floating around or playing at the beach and are just resting their bodies while they dry up! Salazzle especially loved bathing in from the (Also pooltoy) Sun's rays and doing some nice swimming in the water too. Even if she's a fire type...that rubbery airy pooltoy body is what helps her have a nice splash!

These are interesting puzzle worlds that are surprisingly hostile for bionts. Sure, at least there's oxidizing chemistry so the air is breathable, but you have to pack in everything you eat and drink (as one can't eat plastic), and pack out everything you excrete (out of courtesy).
Even liquids are rubbery ?
Boi, really wonder how this world would work. And I'm not even talking about the violation of the laws of physics.
Like "they've had quite a fun time floating around" How can they even float or get wet by something if it's rubber?
Also static electricity must be one hell of a deal in this place.
