A long time ago, Henrik did end up dying to malignant tumors in his maws during the 1200s, but because he had died with the regret of not having been able to live a normal life, he was denied at the gates and forced to wander the world as a lost spirit as purgatory. Ruby found his soul 1800 years later and at that point Henrik's soul had not only forgotten he had died, but his mind wasn't exactly stable anymore. Meeting Ruby however snapped his mind back as Ruby resurrected him. However due to the amount of time that had passed, Henrik was going to have a culture shock if something wasn't done immediately!

So Ruby tasked one of his employees, Anna, to perform the long and tedious process of slowly helping him catch up with history and technology, one generation at a time. This long process which lasted for years was the reason why Henrik and Anna ended up together, they had plenty of time to bond, and in this pic he's gotten to the 1920s, his maws currently playing with the previous technology piece he got to experience at the end of the 1800s session. x3 Also because this is from the past, Anna hadn't ascended yet and her bust was smaller. Hell, Henrik's dick was even relatively hidden!

Anyway, Anna also had to decorate the room to fit the current era Henrik had reached, hence the lack of furniture and the lantern on the bedtable. Though he didn't go through the clothes eras, those are easy enough to understand on their own. Also Henrik finally has pants!!!!!! :DDDDDD
