I had thought that this took place before Brooke goes to College. Cause that looks like a younger version of Pepper in the back. But, Fisk himself says otherwise, so I guess I am wrong.

Could be that Pepper has a younger sister and this is her, but it could also just be perspective. Sophia is closer to the viewer whereas Pepper is further away and also hunched over, making her seem to be shorter.
Given how Pepper reacted to finding Jalen and her mom, though, I think she'd have a more negative reaction to her mom emphasizing her pregnancy, rather than just the idea of being pregnant.
