Boat truck. Duck. Whatever you want to call it, you probably seen it in a lot of museums. Built to carry troops and cargo ashore, DUKWs were one of those pieces of equipment that played a huge role in providing and maintaining a huge logistical advantage for the Allies.
Pretty sure you could stick some guns on this thing. Kind of wish to see this in War Thunder just for laughs...they've already got the LVT-1A so why not?

Ooh! A duck! I love those things! I remember when I remember the first time I went on a tour on one in Stone Mountain! I also went on a tour on one years later in Aan Francisco Bay! Something cool about the latter ride is that there was a small speaker up front playing radio transmissions from a time long ago in SF when a major storm hit. Little me was confused when the 'radio' said "the bay bridge has collapsed" because I was looking right at the bridge! Then someone, it was either the driver or one of my folks explained to me that they weren't live transmissions but recordings of them from the famous storm. I'd love to ride one again! I also wouldn't mind seeing a preserved one not retrofitted for civilian use in person! Amphibious automobiles are SEVERELY underrated!
I wouldn't mind getting in one myself, though I have absolutely no idea how I'd fare aboard boats or amphibious vehicles in motion, since I've not really been on either (well, I've been on the LST over in Evansville when it was actually there, but it never really moved; it IS functional, but I don't think they give rides).
DUKWs are quite often glossed over, I would think. My first time actually knowing of their existence was when I played CoD 2 Big Red One on the PS2; they were only present for the Gela landing beach mission but it was still a pretty neat thing that they added something like that into the game. I honestly think many of the Amphibious vehicles get overshadowed by their land-based counterparts, UNLESS we're specifically talking about the DD tanks (or the Schwimmwagen). So yeah, I agree they're underrated.
