Oh, yeah, it very much is. Which shouldn't be surprising, there's a lot of overlap between anime fandom and furry fandom, especially with some of the older fans of both.

I mean, yes, it does make a certain amount of sense for a dancer. I remember seeing Karen Kain (who was the principle ballerina and later Artistic Director for the National Ballet of Canada) doing a guest cameo dance routine for one of her husband Ross Petty's panto productions, and just watching her move in the TV camera closeups made me go 'holy crap those thigh muscles'.

When you told me who you'd most closely met your voice in-character to, I knew of the singer but had not connected it with her work. And a month ago or so you shared with me the song that make you pick her voice to tonal composure with and aligned to Jenora's own...well, I'm sure I'm not the first to tell you, but since you taught me how to worldbuild and to write, and know you as close I do, yourself likewise, I think you're not only a starcat, you're wholly and validly a starbuilder as well.

And like any star with a brachiate body and at least two arms, you have two shoulders. Twopaw-IC is there already, as you've invited and allowed for so long with your loving support and gentle, patient company; and when I see you in March, if you'll give me the gift of your permission and my sharing, both of yours are going to know my hands caring for them for the asking, a hug, a massage, you name it. Or admiration for the silent, titanic tether we fostered and established more than three decades ago, when I was not myself; so then I won't touch at all without asking first, the same promise I keep and choice bid unquestioned and response respected by anyone I know, and kept to.

I want you to know, I'm never letting go of myself again. And I'll never again question our trust, a promise to me and to you. I've got this, and I know what's important, so we've got this yet. The end is denied because I've refused the temptation of convenient failure, as you have and taught me as well. You're one of those importances, and what we have is as important to me, and of anyone else I know I think I can say on your behalf I know you'll say the same if I ask.

By the way, I have a full beard now, and that may be the only difference you don't expect when you see me at FE in March. Don't worry, I just keep my Tactical Hamster Billet in there. They have a lot more room to breathe and better observation and distance shortening. Good tactical hamsters, are my Billet of Millet Mullet.
