Captain Litvyak a Sukhoi Su-27
  from "Litvyak squad" a squadron of 6 Flankers, where patrolling around Alaska trying to do some reconnaissance on USAF bases in Alaska. As soon as her squad reached US airspace 8 F-16 Falcons from Elmendorf Air Force base took off to intercept the Flankers. 

Half an hour after the Falcons got radar contact with Litvyak squad. The leed F-16 tried to make contact with her squad, but didn’t get a response.

A few minutes later the Falcons met up with her squad and told them "this is US airspace and to Turn back now"! In the tense moment, a member of litvyak's squadron went against her orders not to engage.   

This led to an intense dogfight where all of her squad mates were shot down in a matter of minutes. Because of her experience and mobility, Litvyak was not shot down in the first attack. After a while she started to get tired trying to defend herself from the Falcons.

After a While of fighting she finally got one of the Falcons in her sights. She tried to fire her gun but nothing happened. Her gun had jammed, and she started to panic which made her lose focus, which lead to her right engine getting hit decreasing her speed.

A few seconds later one of the Falcons destroyed  her left wing which put her into a flat spin that she couldn't recover from and seconds later the aeromorph collided with the earth.

The next day the Falcons went to see if there were any survivors from the battle the day prior. Eventually they found Litvyak, and were shocked to find that she was still alive. They radioed for (PJ) Pararescue Sikorsky HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter to medevac her to the base.

When they got to the base the medics took her to the operating room. The doctors told her that they could save her life but, at a cost.

To call her body "highly damaged" would be an understatement, her body was practically destroyed and it was nothing short of a miracle that she had even survived at all. Since the medics didn't have and spare parts for Flankers on hand it would be near impossible to save her. That is until they had a thought,
because she was practically an endo skeleton at this point they could (Theoretically) use other parts they did have to rebuild her as another aeroframe entirely
and The decision was made.

she would be turned into an F-16,
Under the conditions that she would now serve in the United States Air Force and in order to protect her, her name and identity would be changed.
It would be a tough decision.
And She would need time to come to a decision, but unfortunately she didn't have the time, and she agreed to the conditions.

A few days later she woke up in a hospital room where there was a MP watching her. When she sat up the MP made a call to someone. Five minutes later the General of the base came into the room with a box and a suit bag. The General put the box and the bag down.
Then he told her they need her to sign some paperwork. It was her enlistment in the USAF. After she signed the paperwork he opened the box inside was her combat uniform, a list of her new squad members, a US Birth certificate, and a Social Security card. The General told her that he came up with her new name. 

Her new name would be Anastasia, Anastasia a name of Russian origins, meaning (resurrection). He thought it fitting considering the last 48 hours. 
He than asked her if she would like to meet her new squadron, and she said yes, so the General gave her the suit bag. And told her to put her dress blues on then meet him outside when she was done.  

After she was done she left the room. When she met the General he led her to one of the hangers on the base. As soon as they entered the hangar 4 other Falcons rushed to her and began to cry.

She wondered why these Americans were crying upon sight of her.
One of the Falcons called her "Litvyak". As soon as she said that, Anastasia started to tear up herself, because she realized what happened.
It was the rest of her squad, but she was wondering why there were only 4 and not 5 of them.
One of them explained that the one that started the fight, was deceased when the US Airmen found her.
The General pulled out a bottle of Vodka along with 6 shot glasses and poured them all a drink. They all took their shots.

Then the General said to all of them. "Because you are all here, I will tell you my plan for you. I’m starting a new Aggressor squadron. The 406th Aggressor squadron stationed at Malmstrom AFB in Montana. Then the General told them that they would be leaving the next morning at 06:00

A few days later the 406th where met by the same General whom, was briefing them on there first operation. They were to participate in a dogfight exercise, there opponent or rather opponents, a single Aeromorph who had recently left "retirement" and had recently rejoined the Airforce.
"Five of us against a single enemy, there's no way we can lose", they all thought than suddenly they heard another aeromorph approaching.

"Lady's I'd like you all to meet today's opponent. say hello to Capt. Daniela Akerman, call-sign Jäger ".

Anastasia and the other members of the 406th look on in amazement at the aeromorph before them dressed in Red, White, and Blue. her golden canopy and green eyes glinting in the sunlight stood an F-22 Aeroframe, this had to be some kind of joke or some sort hazing.

They still weren't used to there new body's
And now they where supposed to fight against an F-22 in there first operation, the silence was broken by Daniela whom spoke "Alright, lets Turn and Burn".
All Anastasia could think was that "today just got a lot more interesting".
