Ah, government websites and services... I know this stuff all too well. Just the other day, a procedure which logically should have taken 10 minutes consumed 1 hour 20 minutes of my time. Precisely because of endless pseudo -loading!

I was thinking of how in the previous few years I tried giving the snake-like-creature large pointy ears to show emotion better and hair moderately like my own (but not completely) and eventually decided no ears and a single hair lump going out the back were more visually functional. Including a previous state of the "design" seemed like it might be good for showing the passage of the time.

I did have rubbish server errors when i tried to return to the website days later and see if the page sections would magically load then. Yet later I did get back into the site and the form was no longer there! I eventually found the old url in my browser history and it claimed that i had already submitted the application, so i have no idea what to expect. Nothing good!
