I'm new to the fandom and I really had some fun adding a lot of my own personality into this. It's been years since I've delved into my own artwork, the community definitely gave me that little spark of inspiration to get back into it.
The title Sleeping Lessons is after a song one of my favorite bands, The Shins. It's all about learning to be yourself and stop trying to fit into society's mold. You're not obliged to swallow anything you despise. Really speaks to my experience revealing my true colors in the fandom and breaking out of my shell.
