It's no secret that Takavera CyberForge were masters of the Motorola 68000 processor. Their legendary CyberForge FM Studio had been released in 1990 on the Sharp X68000 home computer as simply "CyberForge Music Studio 68000". This was due to the fact that the Sharp X68k was known to have a following around just it's internal FM Synthesis chip, along with various MIDI upgrade cards that allowed people to use semi-professional Roland modules, such as the LA Synthesis based MT-32 or the General Midi/GS-based SoundCanvas series. In 2013, before the Konami buy-out, the founders of Takavera CyberForge, out of defiance of the major corporation swooping in to purchase assets, released the original source for CyberForge Music Studio 68000 to the Public Domain in a simple git repository, knowing that since 2000, Sharp and Hudson had made the ROMs and Operating System of the legendary computer platform public as well, meaning that anyone around the world could edit the source, compile their own copy, and legally run it in an emulator.
The screenshot here is that of the post 2013 release.
(While CyberForge itself is fictitious, the fact that the Sharp X68000's operating system and ROMs are public domain is true and emulation is possible. There are a TON of awesome games out there, possibly some homebrewed for this amazing computer. Castlevania on this computer is AWESOME, especially with MUNT or Nuked SC-55 set up and running. So good. I'll write up a guide on how to get it working with px68k)
