I make no secret that I collect whiskies and my Covid project was to explore micro or craft distilleries. I learned awhile ago that there is one locally, ten minute drive from where I work local. They are phone or email order and have no brick store.

Turns out the guy was being robbed by the bottle distributors. My boss offered to order them in on our account and save the guy a lot of capitol. Hundreds of dollars worth. Today he came by to get a bag of reusable corks, the ones with the black plastic tops and brought a bottle of his whiskey. The boss gave it to me. Naturally I had to give it a try. To me it felt a lot like the Japanese whiskies, light flavor, but good and slightly higher alcohol, 43%.
