well first I bleached the whole thing (It doesn't have to be like WHITE, mine was light orangey blonde) & then section off the parts you want for each colour. We were going to dye & wash out 1 section at a time but we ended up doing it all at once & just curled each colour into a little bun & clipped it to my head XD & then we just rinsed everything out at once, it was pretty easy :D
