Doug is a construction worker who is often hired at the Alolan Rescuer Guild to build bases around the more dangerous parts of the islands for use by the explorers. He often prefers working with his bare hands and the enhanced strength that being a Fighting-type brings over working with tools for building bases. When not working for the guild he also works building houses for the residents of Melemele City.
