Berrytail is a middle-aged Gengar who once lived in the Alabaster Icelands of Hisui. One day after coming home from hunting, he witnessed his clan—including his own wife and children—being killed by humans. He was devastated ever since. However, he ended up being transported to the modern day by Arceus. Berrytail now lives in the frozen wastelands of Isle of Arce. He chases off or eats any trespassers who go near his home.
On the inside, however, Berrytail deeply cares about his friends and the Pokemon he loves. He hasn’t gotten used to opening up to anyone.
