When you design/paint a piece like this, do you start from one spot as the base and branch off, or do you prefer to have multiple anchor points for scenes/motifs? It's really cool seeing one design flow into the next. <3

Oo thank you for the kind words ^^ As for the design process I would say I usually start with a particular color scheme/aesthetic in mind and I will sketch out elements and build up other shapes and elements around it and making adjustments until the whole scene comes together, sometimes things form in unexpected ways and it all just goes by vibe but I do love building tiny scenes ^_^
