I LOVE THIS MOVIE. So very many different aspects of the movie appeal to me, but the basic core of having a side of your personality that is different, odd, and in some manner weird and looked down on just resonated with me as that's what I felt like all through childhood into high school because of my interest in art and cartoons along with my avoidance of more mainstream interests. Recognizing the value in those aspects of yourself and turning it into a strength was awesome, and so wonderfully presented in the storytelling and visual design. I love the spark and energy the movie had and I still think it was a tragedy that the movie never got a proper theatrical release and remains a sort of "Oh yeah, we did that movie, right?" when you go to the Disney theme parks.
