There were times when he was accused of stealing a deer from a hunter. This time he will probably be charged with robbery and stealing fish, even though he was only flying past... again ignoring the gust of wind from under his wings and the fact that he is a creature that shocks with his mere presence.
Mostly, dragons are more of a legend here, because many people don't believe in them. This is due to the fact that the dragon's territory is huge, and due to the prevailing swamps, it’s very sparsely inhabited by people. So if they see him, it’s probably only once in their life. And this one especially avoids human settlements.

As you can see, he has a lot of scars, but they are from ordinary accidents, not battles. Densely forested areas make life difficult for the dragon. His worst scar is the one that can't be seen.
