This was one of only two pictures that I drew during a Rainfurrest 2011 art jam. I didn't know whose sketchbook I drew in, or who these characters are. There was a reference picture in the front of the sketchbook, showing a male rabbit with what I assumed was his red panda boyfriend. There was also a note saying I could draw anything, and if I chose to draw those two characters, "keep it clean, keep it fun." So I did! The con theme was furry camping, so I decided to draw chibi versions of the characters around a campfire, swapping ghost stories.

Edit: I stumbled across the page of  fuzzypaws and immediately realized he was the "red panda" in this picture. And he's not a red panda, he's a raccoon-ferret hybrid. Oops. His name is Shiro. His boyfriend is  cth a.k.a. Clarence T. Hare. The ref picture that I used was done by  formidonis

I sat next to  mursa, who was nice enough to let me borrow his Copic markers. After I returned from the con I found out I had accidentally taken one of his markers home with me, so I tracked him down on FA and let him know. He said it was OK.

And we all lived happily ever after.
