Incompetence, arrogance, immaturity, irresponsibility, discourtesy, cronyism, megalomania, collective narcissism, lack of professionalism, accountability or oversight.

Cronyism means that people who are friends with the administrators are shown favoritism, and appointed to positions of power despite a complete lack of qualifications. Only brown-nosers and people who will not weaken the appointer's position or express views contrary to them are appointed, and there's a lot of group mentality to backing up the cronies' bad decisions because they're "one of us." If someone objects to another person's bad decisions or abuses of power, they are shunned from the group and kicked off the staff. As a result, pretty much all of the staff are unqualified to be administrating an online community, and this is a huge factor in why so many of these negative traits I mentioned apply in the first place.
Megalomania means they have delusional fantasies of power and grandeur, and generally behave accordingly, looking for any excuse to live their fantasies by exerting their power over others in inappropriate ways.

sorry for the necro, but i wholeheartedly agree about your point. any group that does that much censorship of opposing views will completely fail due to not having enough variety in input topics. if FA is in fact doing this, then i may just reference this on my page. it is unacceptable that they would block the cons when asking about something.
