Exporting Error #2633

Hi! We have an issue filed at #2129 for this enhancement. It definitely should be doable. Thanks for expressing your interest in this use case, and it's especially useful to know that it impacts those you're teaching. Similar to your usage of an invisible rectangle around the objects, you might also teach the usage of an artboard as this. The export dialog has a bound setting for each individual artboard. I would also love to learn more about your experience instructing with Graphite in your classes. Are you open to meeting for a video call so we can discuss that process and how we can make improvements to reduce common pain points experienced by you and your students? Thanks! |

Hi
I use Graphite to teach my Graphic Design classes, ongoing. I don't know if anyone is working on this....
When you export a vector image, the exported image always has the stroke's edges cut off. The export only looks for the edges of the vector, not the stroke.
For the sake of the artists using it, I always show my students how to create an 'invisible rectangle' around their objects so the strokes don't get cut. But long-term, I figure it's something the Graphite team probably ought to address.
