feat: Google News Gms Patch support for the latest version

Feature description

My request is simple, I want the gms support patch version to be updated to latest or close to latest version of Google News, also I'm having some issues with the widget (I have to manually open the app for it to refresh the feed even tho I disabled all optimizations I could find). I tried to patch the newest Google News apk but it gives me an error related to aapt2 after it succeeds on patching the gmscore patch. Here is the log file:

Motivation

The benefits:
New UI change
Longer app life (some things can be broken if Google decides to shut the old version)

Why should this feature be implemented?
I want to able to use the open in another browser patch for a longer time.

This sounds like begging but I requested this 5 months ago. I can't test it if the compiler doesn't work properly.

I don't have the knowledge for Java or deobfuscating the app, just basic stuff like error finding in the logs 😐. You guys updated a lot of the other apps but not this one for some reason. Try finding someone with the knowledge of Java please, thanks.
