Unable to read from stata file

Hey all,

I am having trouble trying to read a .dta file using pyreadstat in PyCharm.

I get the following readout:

Does anyone know why this is going on?

Here is the code that I am executing:

import pyreadstat

df, meta = pyreadstat.read_dta("dummy filename")

print(df.head())
print(meta.column_names)
print(meta.column_labels)
print(meta.column_names_to_labels)
print(meta.number_rows)
print(meta.number_columns)
print(meta.file_label)
print(meta.file_encoding)

I am importing the file from Dropbox via Dropbox sync; I am not sure if this has something to do with my issue.

not sure, it seems there is some feature in the file that Readstat cannot read.
