Load Workflows from Folder Redirect

I know you can load models via extra_model_paths.yaml, but can you do the same with Workflows? I occasionally forget when i reinstall comfyui to backup the workflows and end up losing them. It would be really nice if they could be loaded and saved into a folder outside of comfy, like the models can.

Yes I know there is Open/Save As, but thats not the same as what I am talking about. I am referring to a redirect like the models can do.

What for u need redirect for workflows? Workflow is very tiny .json file - just copy them.

Redirect useful to do not copy large files - as models files is.

I want to be able to redirect the workflows automatically outside of the comfyui folder so when delete the comfy portable folder, I don't have to work about the workflow folder. It is nothing to do with space.

You have some folder inside ComfyUI with workflows? What folder?

I use only manually saved workflows: save as > json.

I really appreciate you trying to help but you are not understanding.
When you Save As or Save, it save the json file into ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\user\default\workflows. So If I delete the whole comfy folder, all the workflows get deleted. Portable users will often delete the folder and start again due to bad downloaded nodes etc so opt for a quick reinstall.
Having a workflow folder OUTSIDE of the comfy folder would prevent this for Portable Comfy users. Most software allows for a custom location default save folder, which is what I am asking if there a way to do in comfy.

You can set --base-directory.

Set the ComfyUI base directory for models, custom_nodes, input, output, temp, and user directories

I even don't have this folder.
When I click on "Save" it's open browser's window for saving file -- and I simply choose any folder to save.
If your save became automatically (in settings determined folder) -- may be this can be changed in options, like 'Folder to save'?

ComfyUI has a menu top left; Workflow, Edit, and Help.
Under Workflow, choose Save As.

This will save Workflows in the Workflows sidebar panel;

If you're missing this menu, then you either need to update ComfyUI, or return to the new UI layout in Settings > Comfy > Use New Menu.

That was what I was after.

I appreciate everyone elses suggestions, but still not sure you actually read the issue properly. I know about Save/Save As, that is not what the issue was about.
