System allowing 2 different serial number on different work order and stock entry

Information about bug

For eg:- I want to manufacture a laptop, so I created 2 work order I make memory card (raw material) stock entry against these work orders. Memory card have serial number so against MFG-WO-2025-00033 I issued memory card MEMCARD000001 and against work order MFG-WO-2025-00034 I issued MEMCARD000002 but will finishing the work order the stock entry I made I added MEMCARD000002 in serial number against MFG-WO-2025-00033. The system didn't restrict me here and allowed me to submit the stock entry. System should verify or make the serial no and batch no read only will going through work order

Hi,

Currently, we are not reserving stock against work orders, so it will allow you to take any serial number. This issue will get resolved with the stock reservation against the work order feature coming in v16.
