WSL/Windows Global Search Modal

It seems like on WSL/Windows you don't get a modal popup with global search, this also effects how real time file filtering works as you have to search first:

Then after entering you see the files in a modal:

Note: I did check the helix editor docs but couldn't find modal related configs, so I don't think it's that.

You have an older version installed. You need to install the latest version

@pascalkuthe I'm using helix PPA for ubuntu, I ran the following and don't see an upgradable option:

apt list --upgradable and apt install --only-upgrade helix which resulted in =>

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
helix is already the newest version (24.07-1~ubuntu24.04~ppa1).
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 30 not upgraded.

current version: helix 24.7 (079f5442)

Update: I followed the guide to build the deb file from source locally, now running latest version thanks.
