Describe your problem

When compiling Docker images (including embedding models) locally, the process gets stuck as shown in the figure. What are the reasons for this and how can we solve it

The most common reason for Docker builds getting stuck with RAGFlow—especially when using NEED_MIRROR=1—is network connectivity issues with the configured mirrors. If your build logs show long waits or repeated connection errors to mirrors.aliyun.com or Tsinghua University mirrors, it's likely a network or mirror-side problem. This can result in errors like "Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement pip" or "No matching distribution found for pip" due to the mirror being unreachable or out of sync (source).

To resolve this:

• Check your internet connection and ensure you can access the configured mirrors from your build environment.
• If you are behind a firewall or have unstable connectivity, try switching to a different mirror or unset NEED_MIRROR to use the default sources.
• If you are on Mac or Windows, using Docker Buildx instead of the standard Docker build command has resolved similar SSL and package installation issues for others (source).
• If you have limited memory or want to avoid downloading large embedding models, you can build the slim image with --build-arg LIGHTEN=1 (source).

If the build context transfer is taking an unusually long time, make sure your build context directory does not contain large or unnecessary files.

I guess that it's downloading the infiniflow/ragflow_deps:latest.
