There is a Hamvention firmware branch for the web flasher,

main...hamvention

which is running I think at https://hamvention.meshtastic.org . Presumably this also points to a specific release that also has a tag and diffs.

It would be extra super if there was a README file for this somewhere that expressed in plain language what changes were made, and perhaps even how to interoperate with these event-specific defaults if you were going to build it by yourself from the standard firmware.

It looks like the firmware changes are represented here

meshtastic/firmware@master...event/dayton2025

and the Discord channel says this from @vidplace7 , for Event Mode

🚫 Blocks non-standard port numbers

🚫 Caps hop limit at 3
📉 Forces conservative telemetry/nodeinfo intervals
