need another round of recursive verifier cycle profiling. 2M seems too much.

Just in. Latest verifier on branch build/e2e_modification (without Basefold) for fibonacci example ran through at 2027993 cycles.

status: (1) integtation with basefold PCS part (2) profiling cycles, much more than expected.
