Zed hangs and must force quite especially when formatting / eslint gets error OR node_modules gets into git tracking

Summary

I fully understand getting node_modules into git tracks are something should not be happening, but even it's an accident (e.g. when initing a project) it should not lead to editor hangs and we must force quit it after a while.

Description

Steps to trigger the problem:

1. install node_modules with 10+ packages (top level) 30000+ files in change
2. switch to git panel
3. wait for it to hang in 5 seconds

Actual Behavior:

Expected Behavior:

No hangs

Zed Version and System Specs

Zed: v0.185.12 (Zed)
OS: macOS 14.7.4
Memory: 16 GiB
Architecture: aarch64

Sorry closing this, I just go back to vscode, it gives me too much random hangs, you can ignore this
