Ladies and gentlemen, a MOST WONDERFUL hello to you once again!!! ;) And in honor of my upcoming 41st birthday on Monday, May 28, 2018, I now so handsomely quite welcome each and every one of you to the world’s officially *very* first publicly-released, indie-created custom 128-color palette for 2018 entitled the AAP-Splendor128, which is the sheer successor of my AAP-64 one that I had first designed from last year, 2017. Your pixel-art creativity is really gonna sing in such full-on brilliance with this new one!!
From the very beginning of its development on the Christmas Day of 2017 all the way to its full 100% completion and successful debut on Twitter on the early noon-mark of Monday, May 7, 2018, this original palette of the AAP-Splendor128 by Adigun Azikiwe Polack improves on literally EVERYTHING the AAP-64 has and more — smooth and natural color ramps, color fades, full support for creating natural materials (i.e. sand, skin, granite, moss, wood, grass, moss, rocks, slime, and tons more!!), as you can clearly see in this picture above. Plus, the color balance/saturation has been thoroughly and most painstakingly fine-tuned with much easier color readability in mind for very many of the colors, especially on the greens, reds, blues, and purples as well, and THAT was very important to me that I had to share with you as part of the fun that you are *most* definitely sure to have while using this brand-new palette indeed. And believe me, the total amount of depth and color variety in this overall palette is sure a helluva lot better and far richer than the Atari 2600 palette, let’s get that absolutely correct for a fact, because if you have ever looked at that other palette there and then gone to the new AAP-Splendor128 one... well, the difference is QUITE crystal-clear indeed. “Ease-of-use” would certainly be the key main phrase here, in other words, because I promise you that it has a ton of versatility for a palette of just 128 colors indeed!!! (^-^)v !!
As such, you are ESPECIALLY MOST FREELY WELCOME to use my AAP-Splendor128 in your own sprites, games, and any new pixel-art creations that you so richly desire indeed... especially in your own indie-/retro-game titles, also!! Let the nine (9) screens that I have made in the picture above be your main guide and inspiration of how best to really enjoy this palette to its possible maximum potential... and you can do it!!!
(And an awesomely huge shout-out to screen #8 in particular which offers an amazing custom nod to the title screens of Street Fighter Alpha/Zero 1, 2, & 3. See if any of you can clealy recognize the fun nods from other games that the remaining screens are inspired from!! )
By the way, the whole entire main picture above and all its 9 screens inside were created by me using all the solid, fully-opaque pixels that make up the entire AAP-Splendor128 palette indeed. Just 128 solid colors total. And, the best and most recommended place to snag yourself my AAP-Splendor128 palette is on the official LOSPEC palette-description page covering it right here, so go grab it and enjoy it richly to your heart’s content, ok now? ;)
And with all of that, I look quite thoroughly forward to what phenomenal-quality pixel art you can create and achieve with my AAP-Splendor128 palette!! Go get ‘em!!! d=^-^=b !!
